Seyesá Telíb (born June 6, 2002), known primarily by her given name Seyesá, is a Yerutian singer and social media star. After nearly overnight success in Yorudbynbad and Barradiwa with the release of her first album Waiting, Seyesá gained a mass social media following that has spread beyond Barradiwa's borders. The singer has become known for her attentive fanbase, who she calls her "little sisters", and her provocative social media presence.

Early life

Little is known of Seyesá's family and childhood. According to information posted on social media, she was born in the city of Yorudbynbad, the capital of the nation of the same name. She is an only child but has "many cousins". She began singing for her family while still a child, and by her mid-teens was performing at events for hire as "Seyesá", which is not her birth name.

First album

Seyesá was discovered by an Accidental Records scout while performing at a large wedding. Initially, an Accidental Records executive wanted her to serve as a backup singer to <INSERT NAME HERE>, but after Seyesá performed <SONG NAME HERE> by <INSERT NAME HERE> alone and unaccompanied, was convinced to sign a solo recording contract with her.

Waiting, Seyesá's first album, was released on May 17, 2022, and almost immediately became a success in both Yorudbynbad and Barradiwa. Despite Seyesá being a native Yerutian speaker, the album was recorded in Ekuostian, which helped propel it to success.

Social media presence and controversy

As part of marketing for Waiting, Seyesá heavily promoted her social media, which has become possibly even more famous than her music itself. Her unique style of rapidfire video clips and stream-of-consciousness, often overtly risqué posts has garnered both fanatic followers and condemnation. As a part of her social media presence, she challenges her "little sisters" (which includes fans of all genders) to do seemingly harmless acts, such as performing dance moves in public, wearing clothing in certain colors, or asking odd questions to strangers. Videos of fans carrying out these challenges are linked from her posts, further propeling their popularity.

However, some observers have accused her challenges of being less harmless than they appear, alleging that challenges have been used to disguise criminal activity such as smuggling illegal goods and unlicensed gambling. Seyesá has extensively mocked such allegations in her posts, offering other supposed challenges her fans could carry out, such as robbing the national vault of Barradiwa or overthrowing the Lhavrinian government. She has also denied accusations that she is sponsored by the Yerutian government as part of a campaign to improve their image and distract from alleged violations of international law by Yorudbynbad's government.
