¤ Land ownership (or lack thereof) on Jute

¤ Modern literature (→Crosspath)

¤ Balak influences on Jute (political, language standardization etc. – see discussions on 'Balak Empire' on Sahar chat for examples)

Major general issues of the South Jute article

¤ South Jute in pre-colony times

¤ Demographics of South Jute, South Jutean place names (from the old South Jute thread on the boards)

¤ Mermelian, Neviran (i.e. Saruan) and Balak influences on culture, the economy and politics

Issues regarding minorities

¤ Rites and organization of minority religions (including cults in Sitti),

¤ Klambari/Samwati herbalism

¤ Marriage and families in Jute's minority cultures

Architecture

> One attraction could be a gharam (Zarasaist temple) built in some sort of hybrid Balak-Jutean style, it'd still be used for its original purpose by Numudu Zarasaists but could have a secondary use as some kind of history museum > Actually the colonial hybrid architecture in general could be an attraction in and of itself > one or more Vaniuan embassies [are] hosted there too

Much of Sitti would likely be as dense and compact as a favela in Rio de Janeiro. Generally, even there almost all apartments and houses have a small birdhouse attached to them for carrier pigeons

Balak influences

  • Treaty of Sitti and Balakia, Balak Numudu
  • Trains in central and northern Jute
  • tied into this: Zaratan incident (and related, bigger conflicts)
  • political influence (rise and fall of 'Jutean statism')
  • Balak pushing for constitutional changes, supported by Balak-friendly (statist?) groups
  • linguistic standardisation of Coastal Jutean (based on the Numudu dialect)
  • consequences of the collapse of the Balak Empire, end of Balak Numudu
  • later influences (e.g. the airfield of Sitti, mafia-like organization in Numudu?)

River Jutean mythology

¤ "transitional" between Samwati and Coastal Jutean myths

¤ has the mythological heritage shared with Coastal Juteans, but like Samwati mythology centers rivers and rainforests more

¤ Lake Samwati/Jehaadufi also features prominently as the edge and border of the traditional homeland

¤ belief in channeling spirits of the dead after their death to figure out their last will, or, in murder cases, pay restitution to them and help them find the way to the afterworld, as the regular messenger of death wasn't there to fetch them
