It has influenced all Atsiq languages to considerable degrees and remains a source of neologisms to this day, especially in the scientific field. Imperial Osveraali is based on the Old Osveraali dialect spoken in the Usuva region around the year 1000 and underwent a process of standardisation and codification in the late 12th century, largely ceasing to be a first spoken language by the mid-13th century.
