Aayke Ngol (IPA: //, Native language: [tbd], IPA: //), officially the Republic of Aayke Ngol, is a country located in Akulanen, south of Magali and west of Amerhan, with a southern coast along the Taanttu Sea.

Etymology

History

Prehistory

c. 50,000 BCE: First migration wave of humans in Soltenna, arriving from Ekuosia through Terminian land bridges, with first steps on Soltenna being on modern-day Quaxin Xun.

c. 3000 BCE: Ngerupic peoples, speaking Wa Ñi, begin to spread throughout Akulanen from their initial Urheimat in what is now northwestern Magali. This diffusion is mainly due to domestication of goats and cultivation of cassava and related tubers.

c.500 BCE: Ngerupic people in what is now Aayke Ngol have differentiated into Southern, Western [placeholder], [placeholder no.2] and Termic groups.

Letsatian period

c. 50 BCE: First contact with Terminians.

25-100 CE: Aayke Ngol becomes de jure part of the Letsatian Empire.

c. 280 CE: First centralized Ngerupic states in what is now Aayke Ngol, mainly coastal city-states. Conflict with the rapidly-declining Letsatia over the next decade.

Terminian period

c. 1350-1400 CE: The whole of Aayke Ngol is controlled by Terminia.

1483 CE: Cataclysmic earthquake, with an epicenter in Magali, and tsunami ravage northern Aayke Ngol

Algazi period

c. 1600 CE: Algazi merchants spread into coastal Akulanen.

Silver Age

cca 1660 CE: The Aituxe State, which occupies much of western Amerhan, expands southwards, bringing what's now Aayke Ngol under its control-

c. 1700 CE: Algazi influence no longer felt in Akulanen.

1735 CE: The Kingdom of Amerhan retakes its former territory from the Aituxe State.

Premodern Aayke Ngol

cca 1890 CE: Aayke Ngol de jure unified.

Modern Aayke Ngol

1930s: Aayke Ngol adapts Modern Thought, a Kúúlist-like political philosophy which arose in Magali in the prior decade.

1952 CE: Tension between Aayke Ngol and Helsonia as a result of Helsonia’s new alliance with Qonklaks and changing policy in Aayke Ngol, culminating in [idk if it's even gonna culminate in anything].
