The dissolution of the Alotol Confederation occurred de facto on 19 February 1803, when X declared its independence. Other states followed X's example and the Confederation officially ended when Emperor Ethna released states from their mutual obligations to the Kingdom of Setole.

History

Founding of Liosol

The sudden death of Emperor Ethna resulted in his son, Prince Agore the II, ascending to the throne. During his coronation, Agore the II declared the Realm of Luma and Sedail would now unite under one crown. The Averan states, which opposed the crowning of Prince Agore the II over their Prince Emas, declared independence from the Alotol Confederation. The Royal Diet declared this action illegal and voted to take up arms against the rogue state. The Principality of Hedan (Heyan), refused to involve itself in this war and, a month later, declared its own independence.
