Garohe (IPA: /garohe/, Native language: Gueruh, IPA: /gə'ɾuhə/), officially the Democratic Republic of Garohe, is a country located in the region of Sarikon, east of Congaval, south of Mlaken, and southeast of Algador. Garohe is known for being a leading force in the fields of science and technology; it is also home to the Jutean-Garuhish creole: Tahiviof Onakiain; it used to have a monarchy, which was responsible for the creation of Modern Garuhish and the replacement of Old Garuhish.

Etymology

The country's name comes from early Proto-Garuhish "Gren zukh'il" (IPA: /gɾen zukʰil/), whoch roughly translates to "the land of the people".

Garohe is well known for having a very high interest in the fields of science, such as Chemistry, Physics and Genetics; as well as in different technologies.

Demographics

Language

The official langauge of Garohe is Modern Garuhish, which is a synthetic language, with a free word order and 8 grammatical cases. There is also a regional Jutean-Garuhish creole spoken in the west island, sharing much of it's vocabulary with Jutean.

Religion

Garohe follows a polytheistic religion, centered around the (no name) pantheon.

Culture

The Garuhish people are very respectful but reserved, and somewhat "cold" individuals

Literature

Inspired by the authors of classic (pantheon) myths, most of Garuhish literature falls under the sci-fi, fantasy, mystery and detective genres.

Music

The Music scene in Garohe is mostly ruled by Punk Rock, although Ska Punk, Pop Rock, and Pop music are also predominant.
