Prehistory

Nomadic peoples

The early people of Asota were nomads, primarily inhabiting the Siv Valley and the Limve Delta region. These nomads were divided into kamoil which were led by a paternal figure.

Ancient era

Settlements

The first permanent settlements were built in the 3000s BCE. These settlements consisted primarily of shrines to the early Akalist pantheon. The biggest settlement was created circa 2674 BCE and called Oumda, in honor of Oum, the Legendary associated with the element of water. It was a center of trade until a storm destroyed it sometime in the 2400s.

Kamoils

The kamoils formed city-states and fought wars over land in the region. Most of the nomadic groups stopped migrating by the 1800s BCE and permanently settled across the country. The biggest city-states were Oumda, Shūd, Erad, and Mela.

Antiquity

The first Kingdom of the Asotans was established in 1257, following Shūd's departure from the Confederation of Lenezifą. All kamoils under the House of Azud joined Shūd in forming Asota.

Middle ages

The Middle ages in Asota began when the country joined the Alotol Confederation in year.
