New Komy (X: X [IPA]), officially the Grand Republic of New Komy, is a country located in Northwest Ekuosia. The country is bordered on all sides by Galadros, and is one of the few city states on Sahar. The city once served as an important trade hub in Western Ekuosia, as it is surrounded by a natural harbor, and is situated within the bay of X; this position allowed the city to prosper and develop for centuries, and was protected from attack by the sea and its large fortifications. The city emerged around X as a local trading hub and somewhat significant city, detailed accounts of this period are mostly lost due to a fire that destroyed much of the early city. X
