Síndegely, also known as Sámgyök, is a city within southern Hodek. It is located upon the Cakar and Belk rivers, and is located roughly 30 kilometers from both the southern and eastern borders. The city is notable as being one of the oldest permanent settlements within Hodek, having been consistently inhabited since the 11th Century. The city's population in 2000 was recorded as being 34,282.
Economy
Most of Síndegely's business is involved with the transportation of goods along the Belk and Cakar rivers, as well as having the only factory dedicated to the production of snowmobiles in Hodek's borders owned by the company Káddet.
Education
Síndegely's area offers both primary and secondary education opportunities for citizens and migrants within its area. Most notable is the Síndegely Primary School.
