The wild ground sloth (Mylodon darwini) is the only extant species of the family Mylodontidæ, and is found only in the forests and mountains of Upper Tynda, Elyinvarg, and Dyainvurg in Upper Yahara. This species also includes the domestic ground sloth (Mylodon darwini agrarius).
