The third season began two years after the main characters' resettlement in Yerlan and centered around the growing conflict on the coast. Instead of focusing on Soltennan politics this season opened up to the broader post-war world, with particular interest in the Terminian Dominion.
After resistance groups claim responsibility for bombing the 8100 Q.I.C. new year celebration in 1975, Thaboun Lyachi is suddenly released from captivity and is ordered to hunt down the men responsible for the new year bombing. He unknowingly uncovered a conspiracy by a hardline faction within the Lha-Khu leadership to use the antimatter bombs against the Helsonians. Thaboun Lyachi defects to the resistance and offers his knowledge of the inner workings of the Empire.

Ci Khâw became the new leader of the Qonklese Empire. In order to appease his unwilling subjects he began a new war with Liosol by illegally occupying lake Soltenna.

Now without leadership, the festering factions within Lha-Khu leadership dissolve into a brutal civil war, giving occupied nations the opportunity to declare independence. The season ends with a time jump to 2001, long after the fall of the Empire. An aging and crippled Thaboun Lyachi watches the sunset from his village home in Bai Paw.

Season 8 was announced early in {{H:title|1358|2018}} but no official release date has been made. Qonklese-Alotol actor Wy Batanh, aka "Ci Khâw", told his followers on Ajhi that this would be his last season, leading to rumors of the show's end.

Ash and Blood is an Qonklese alternate history drama television series. The series depicts a drastically different outcome to the Great Ekuosian War, where the Qonklese Empire managed to conquer the entirety of Soltenna and Akulanen. In the alternate timeline, Dain Pain rules with an iron fist as the Avatar of Houn Shi over a subservient continent. The story starts in 1967 when a Bweh-Sha agent discovers that his destiny would be forever changed as he discovers that the Empire was manufacturing a theoretical weapon that could level a city, or even an entire nation.

Controversies

Many critics have complained that the show is too violent in nature. Producer Reth Betani told fans in an interview that "most of the horrors seen on screen are taken from actual real-life accounts of Unity aggression."
