Asota (Country [IPA]), officially known as the Trans-Mirarian Republic of Asota, is a country located in Eastern Soltenna. Asota is bordered to the south-east by Mordar-Kovatia, and to the south by the disputed region of Solama and the Gulf of Sharkunen. According to the 2018 Census, Asota has a population of 43.5 million.

Etymology

The etymology of 'Asota' is debated by many linguists, however, it is believed that it comes from the now extinct Vorelic - 'Had Soetha', meaning low-lying land.
