Battlecry (Lithian: fazerumferon Fazerum Feron, Qonklese: 戰哮 Triín Khấu) is a series of hack and slash video games. This series takes place during the Qonklese Warring States period, which takes place from 1200 to 300 BCE. It began as a Starscape exclusive, but the series later expanded to PCs and other gaming consoles as well.

It is initially created and published by the Lugid company, Shakaure Softworks, along with the Qonklese company, BreakTime. It is developed by Shakaure Softworks' development division, Kratesus. In 2010, after the release of Battlecry IV, both companies are merged into SBT, who then becomes the main publisher and owner of the Battlecry series of games, while Kratesus remains as the main developer of the series. It is SBT's most successful franchise, with the series have sold 16 million copies as of 2016, including spin-offs.

The Battlecry series of games are mostly consisted of hack-and-slash video games. At the beginning, the player may choose a character, all of which are based of real and prominent people from the six Qonklese Warring States (Gom, Lou, Chim, Diir, Chiou, and Diin), where the series takes place. The games has a certain amount of levels, each representing particular battles during and within the Warring States. Each level has its own winning and losing condition. For example, in one level, the player is tasked to either defeat particular enemies, eliminate the enemies, or conquer particular or all of enemy bases. The player loses if the health bar drops to zero, the maximum time limit is reached, or by other conditions, commonly with the defeat of the commander-in-chief.

There are two different principal modes in Battlecry. One is the Free Mode, where the player can choose any level and complete the objective there. The other is the Story Mode. In the original, II, and III, there are individual Story Modes for each although not every character. Here, the chosen character helps its kingdom to eventually unify Qonklaks. However, in IV and later, each Warring State has its own Story Mode, and all of the characters from a particular kingdom would play. There is also the Challenge Mode, which is introduced in V, where the player is tasked to reach the highest score of a particular challenge, such as the K.O. count challenge where the player is tasked to kill as much enemies as possible within a time limit.
