Bonfire is the 50th episode of Kosel Ziitütaa, making it the 6th episode of the show's 3rd season. It premiered on 19 July, 2017. It was nominated for a Sahemmy.

Plot

It starts one afternoon with Demsjár tasking Odi (who begins the episode making honeybread) with cutting down some trees for a local cultural bonfire type celebration; Odi hears a loud pop while cutting trees, but doesn't think anything of it.

Then, Demsjár hears a neighborhood doesn't have any water, and immediately tries taking charge of the situation because it's the first interesting thing to happen in a while and he's excited—he begins calling the local congresswoman but he only gets to say "We need water..." before the phone is cut off randomly.

The congresswoman's office is shown, with her clearly being more concerned about her ridiculously over-the-top campaign to be representative of the Konaa state, so a few of her secretaries try interpreting what the councilor's message means; one of them thinks he needs cases of bottled water, another thinks he was trying to strike up a friendly conversation about the weather, while the last one insists he means there's a fire happening. They bicker for a while as politicians do (shown as a montage) before the other two realize hey, if it is a fire, everything's burning down and they gotta fix it asap.

While that's happening, the actual water problem is fixed quickly by official Lhavrinian Fals infrastructure repairmen (with whom the kosel has an intense one-sided passive aggressive rivalry) since one of them lives in the neighborhood, so he learns of the shortage immediately.

Odi is then arrested (by a unit of hilariously incompetent goofball Fals police officers with a token Mysterious Weirdo Kav character named No-vonh among them) for vandalizing state infrastructure, revealing that the roots of one of the trees he knocked down wrapped around an underground water pipe and broke it while it fell causing the water shortage, and they say "We'd call up your councilor to fill out some paperwork and pick you up, but another one of your trees also severed a phone line"; he's left in a holding cell with No-vonh appointed to watch him, staring at him intently without blinking and never responding to his questions; eventually, they all go to the bonfire along with Odi in handcuffs.
