The pistil of the lotus symbolizes the sun and the heavenly realm and it's stamen its rays which grace the soil. The petals of the lotus are each of the eartly realms which graced the seas and created land. The heavenly dust from the sun rays burrowed themselves into the lands and created one of each of the animals and the first of man. The first ever wind blew some of the animals off the land to the sea, which created the fish, and moved the lotus so that it sprinkled more dust to the earthly realm, creating more loti. This created multiple realities where even the most smallest of actions creates yet another reality and thus another lotus. When man grew hungry, he neared a lotus and ate its seeds. He then felt the urge to ejaculate and doing so, he created 7 sons. After creating the 7 sons, they used their saliva to penetrate eachother creating the next generation including women this time. The saliva from the penetration intermixed between the first 8 men, linking them. After seen that theyve created women, they moved and left their children behind. They walked for 7 days and nights, resting at islands between. On the seventh island, they grew thirsty and drank from the sea, where the dolphins agreed to show them the way as they said "come, we must show you da wae". Arriving at the eight island the men knew this would be the place to settle as the dolphins had shown da wae. And there as they rest, they created their children and their children's children.

Harmony is seen as the natural state of the universe and the universe will ultimately end up harmonious. Societies are treated as smaller universes, each in its path to regain harmony through its populous. It is the individuals who contribute to the collective harmony of the society, thus in turn allowing greater harmony for the individual.

The seven virtues are virtues seen as the cornerstone of all societies whether they follow the Cult of the Sacred Lotus or not, and any society that does not follow these virtues is seen as immoral or defunct societies.
* Serenity
Serenity refers to the true connection of mind, body and the universe being in harmony - action and inaction through peace of mind and of no conflict of thought.
* Patience
Patience refers to the ability to remain settled and calm of mind through doubtful times, knowing harmony will prevail even through the most conflicting of times. The sun will set and rise every day until the end of times - so will harmony regain balance and the harmony within oneself and throughout society will be restored through patience.
* Righteousness
Righteousness refers to action and inaction through justice - to keep the realm and self in harmony is to abide by the natural laws set by eternity and the universe which the institution and consciousness of oneself are the extensions of.
* Benevolence
Benevolence refers to the given right of choices - all beings in life are given choices which themselves have to choose. Removing another's will is immoral and and corrupts one's own harmony within themselves. Likewise understanding another keeps the self in harmony through detaching oneselves perspective and gaining better understanding of harmony within oneself and the harmony of what surrounds them.
* Wisdom
Wisdom refers to knowledge and the ability to understand when one or society is in harmony and how to act when it is not. It is also the knowledge of these virtues themselves and how to act in accordance to these virtues.
* Propriety
Propriety is to know self's place in society and the appropriate actions and inactions that come along with that. This does not mean that one should remain unharmonious if that is where an immoral society has deemed them to be but rather strive for harmony within a moral society by gaining and holding one's proper position within society.
* Fidelity
Fidelity refers to loyalty to a spouse, friend, family, society and so on. However this loyalty has produce harmony within oneself and within society, meaning that unhealthy relationships which produce immorality within oneself or in society are to be abandoned in search of harmonious relationships.

Cult of the Sacred Lotus
