Etymology

History

Period of Kings

Period of Kings was from 1400s all the way up to the 1800s. During these times, remnants of the former colonizing power, the Sunrise Horde started to form their own tribes near the Naqui river. These unions of usually four or five villages Started to spread their influence in the forests of Western Parshita. This soon became a trend and every little village tried their best only to eventually become parts of bigger and stronger tribes other villages governed. This was an extremely unstable way of governance as most of the time, the wealth and prosperity of the tribe was heavily dependent on cooperation between tribes. Ruling families of each village had to have good ties to other villages part of the tribe.

Geography

Geographical features of Dapencher are fairly similar throughout the country, but there still lies a lot of variation in between. In the Southwest and Southeast, you find lush valleys with a lot of agriculture, near the Naqui river there are great, old forests, most of which are in national parks and in the North, you find vast plains with ever growing cattle industry. Naqui river is a major factor in economy as it is the largest and longest river in Dapencher, enabling transporting goods in the old ages. This is also where the industrial revolution in Dapencher first took off when it arrived there and two of the three largest cities, including the Capital, have been constructed on the shores of the Naqui river.

Geology

Dapencher lies solely on the Parshitan plate and Borders Mirarian plate to the North, just beneath Miralayas. Almost all of the country has a minimum altitude of 500m, although near the border with Thuutia and Jiihuhp, near Naqui river it gets near 400m from the sea level. Rest of the nation is mountainous with highest peak, [x], reaching 3468m near the border with Calutia.

Bedrock in Dapencher is somewhat rich in diversity of various minerals found in the area, but quite lacking in quantity. However, iron, zinc and lead are mined and processed.

Climate

Main characteristics in defining Penchic climate would be it’s location inlands in Southern parts of Mirarian continent. Rainfall is fairly equal throughout the year, summers are warm and winters are temperate. Northernmost parts in the Miralayas experience some snowfall during the winter.
