Deukogrex is a genus of feliform carnivorous mammals native to South Baredina, filling a number of apex predators and other predatory niches in the region. Despite their typically dog- or bear-like appearance, DNA evidence suggests they are more closely related to the feliforms, and may belong in the hyena family.
