The Ekuos River is a large river in Northern Baredina. It is one of the longest rivers in the world, and arguably the most important on the continent, passing through or by eight countries whom all impart the river with much historical, economic, political, and cultural significance; its outflows also stretch quite far, particularly towards the Letsatian Basin at the extreme northwest of the river's basin. The Kauzic River also splits off from the Ekuos in the Tabiqiri capital of Mehyaran.

The river is the namesake of the sociocultural region of Ekuosia, which encompasses much of Northern Baredina and is the most populous region on Sahar, with over 800 million inhabitants.
