The Fals Empire (IPA: /ˈfɑːɫs ˈɛmpaɪə/, Native language: Kuulatir Fals, IPA: /ˈku:lɑtɪɾ ˈfɑls̪/) is an empire located around the Gulan Sea on the continent of Boroso. It is situated at the very center of the continent, controlling the narrow passage of land that separates the northern and southern halves of the continent, and spreads across the entire coast of the eastern-laid Gulan sea. It is not bordered by any other country, though the nearest country is Ngutan at roughly 800 km.

The Empire covers an area of 750,072 km² and has a largely temperate climate, bordering the Mediterranean zone. With 143,088,469 inhabitants, it is the world's 5th most populous country. Its capital Ikolinis, has a population of 1,2 million, making it one of the smallest capital cities in comparison to the country's total population. The Empire is a -for the most part- a highly developed country, and is an total economic autarky.

Since the rigorous language standardisations of 19th century carried out by Emperor Mistar, the official and state language of the Empire has been the Ikolinian dialect of Faljüdax, which is contemporaneously spoken by all its native inhabitants except for a number of rural regions and the Karakat Confederation.
