Juhashka (Juhash: Juhaška Juhaška [d͡ʒu'hɒʃ.kɒ]), officially the Republic of Juhashka, is a country located in northeastern Miraria, bordered by Fazulavaz to the north, the Gulf of Nehil to the east, and Athsud to the south. Its territory also includes the autonomous province of Sarkik, located in the western Shaelic sea.
A large proportion of the Juhash population live a nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyle. The Juhash steppes have been inhabited by nomadic people for thousands of years, while fishing communities have maintained a long presence on the eastern coast. During the 10th century, the warring Mahavic tribes that populated the steppes were united by Yede Galkhai into the tribal confederacy that became known as the Sunrise Horde, which would go on to conquer much of eastern Miraria over the next 200 years. Though the empire gradually crumbled during the 14th century, the core areas of remained united under the Galkhai Dynasty. A series of events in the later years of the dynasty marked a gradual decline in the once-dominant status of the Juhash, starting in 1505 when the capital was moved from Kahat to Creniz in modern-day Fazulavaz, and culminating in 1617 when power was seized by the ethnic Faźul Y Dynasty. In 1721 a group of Juhash nobles and clans revolted against the Y Monarchy and proclaimed the Kingdom of Juhashka under the Müjän Dynasty.
