Lake Vedovaur (/vɛdoʊ̯ˈvjawɚ/; Yaharan: Vëdovøër /ˈvɛdovʲɑʊ̯wɛɹ/; Yennodorian: Vedováou /vɛdoˈvɒy̯/) is a brackish estuary in the Duchy of Sithen, Yaxarhayut. It is the second largest lake in Yaxarhayut, and the largest lake entirely contained within Yaxarhayut.

Etymology

The name Vëdovøër is derived from the Yaharan words vëdor, meaning "wide", and vøër, meaning "water". It is a calque of the Qamaatak name insert name here whenever Qamaatak is rederived. The Yennodorian name is borrowed from Yaharan.
