Several decades passed and until now the Federation was mostly stable, however this changed after the death of Girix Gahami and coronation of Dax III Gahami in 912, descendant of Dax I Gahami, one of the 5 chiefs. Dax III was the ruler of the Txamba region in the south east, and he owned several surrounding islands in the south, which was a region which lacked resources. His kingdom controlled only half of the Island of Goxdux, which is the most south West Island in Haia, and the rest was controlled by Jox Lxatxaxi, descendant of Uxrux Lxatxaxi. These two kings were the most powerful kings at the time, since they controlled the most land and resources. In 911, Jox’s side of the island was discovered to have many resources, of which included the rare minerals of Iron and Gold, and copper deposits. Although the fact that iron can make weapons and armour was discovered, Iron was relatively rare in the archipelago, and most deposits were not discovered yet, and so copper and other metals were used instead. For this reason iron was used to make jewellery and coins. Dax realised the potential of controlling those deposits after his coronation, and immediately started trying to seize them. In 912, Dax sent about 100 mean to enter into Jox’s side of the Island, and demanded them to control all deposits, roads and pathways. Jox realized this and send 800 men onto the island. After realising the power of Jox’s men, Dax’s men retreated to the border. Jox addressed the illegal entering of Dax’s troops on his territory to the Juxshtoxrix, however the Juxshtoxrix themselves became divided, with 2 kings siding with Jox along with the Ministry of Justice, Infrastructure and Commercial Affairs, while the Ministry of Religion and Preservation along with 1 King sided with Dax, and so the issue wouldn’t be resolved in the Juxshtoxrix. The other kings started lining up troops on their border, and a whole civil war seams imminent. Although Dax had the ministry of preservation on his side, he lacked spare sources to even supply them, and the other king on his side also lacked resources. In 913, Dax sent an agreement to Jox which came to be known as the Goxdux Agreement. The entirety of Goxdux would be under the rule of Goxdux, and Dax will compensate Jox by giving money, troops and slaves, However Dax will be allowed to extract resources from Goxdux for 80 years. Jox accepted, and the Goxdux crisis came to an end.

Milhidia (Cazheil: Milxidxix [miɭiɖɪ]), officially the Kingdom of Milhidia, is a country located in the northern areas of Lahan, on the Haian Archipelago. The Archipelago Nation has a population of 2.5 Million, and a land area of 95 Thousand km². The Kingdom is a constitutional Monarchy with a King and a Prime Minister. The Nation isn't much of a power in its region, being influenced by Balakia and Kaiyyo the most. The GDP of Milhidia is mostly supported by the Agricultural Sector, with the Banana and Cotton Industry flourishing the most, but the recent Tourism and Technology Industry is growing fast, As the dissolution of the Jaxtan Republic goes further away into History. The Milhidian people are known for their unique culture after centuries of Isolation during the Faxlxo Era, creating an alien culture compared to the rest of the region.

Etymology

The name "Milhidia" has controversial origins. There are 2 main and accepted theories where the name came from. The first theory is that it came from 2 Proto-Gerverian words, Mili, meaning rock, and Idi, meaning plenty or multiple. So Milidi means Multiple rocks, which eventually evolved into Milhidia. The second theory suggests that the word is a shortened form of "Yamilid Iditopo", meaning "Great Rocks in the Vast Ocean" in Proto-Gerverian. The word then was shortened to Milid Idit, then to Milidi, then to Milhidia.

History

Arrival of the Proto-Gerverians

The Proto Gerverians were a people group from Lahan who came to the Islands in around 900BCE. Not much is known about these people because of little to no records about them. They established small villages around the Haian Archipelago, creating small societies and eventually tribes. Some notable cities were Rxalxa, Karx, Txep, and Anutx. From these societies came Tribes, such as the Faxlxo, Lxatxaxi, Gahami, and Uksomi.

Establishment of the Kairi Kingdom (~700 BC)

The Haian Archipelago had been mostly In peace until this period. With growing tensions among the Tribes, in around the year 730 BC, a huge war broke out between them. In the huge civil war, which killed about half of the Haian Populous, The Uksomi tribe conquered all of Haia, and established the Kairi Kingdom with Mutu Asve Uksomi (Cazheil:Mutu Asve Uksomi) became the first King of The Kairi Kingdom.

Mutu Asve Uksomi (700 BC-610 BC)

Mutu was the first great figure in Milhidian History. He improved Kairi a lot, creating roads, building infrastructure, making defenses, improving trade with outside powers, etc. This made him a very supported figure in Kairi. It was in his time Uvonikism, was founded, when the Prophet Uvoniki was revealed the 15 Truths of the universe, revealed to him in 638 BC, the year 0 of the Uvonikist Calendar. Mutu died of old age in 610, but according to legend he was struck by lightning after he was angered by Uvoniki.

Dissolution of the Kairi Kingdom (~500 BC)

In about 600 BC, The Kairi Kingdom was coming to decline. The rulers were getting Lazy, and rich, while most of the population was poor. The Army was untrained and useless, the defenses were rotting and Infrastructure was not repaired and collapsing. This caused dissent among the Populous, causing a Great Uprising called the Davaka (Cazheil:Davaka). Not much is known about the Davaka, since most written documents about this period were destroyed by future Kingdoms. All we know is that the Faxlxo, Lxatxaxi, and Gahami all worked together to topple the Kairi Kingdom and Massacre the Uksomi tribe, so that none of their descendants live to topple their future kingdom. The Tribes all agreed in the Meeting of Txep to make an Alliance with each other called the Txep Yuwi, and they all agreed to help each other out in war and desperate times.

Divided Tribes Period (~500-98 BC)

The three Major Tribes mostly didn't fight with each other during this period, not only because of the Txep Yuwi, but also because of Uvonikism, which United all of them. During this period most of the Traditional Milhidian Culture developed, including most Dresses, Holidays, Cuisine, Architecture, and Art, so this is why this era is known as the Cultural Golden Age for Milhidia. During this period, Milhidia was ruled by small tribal city-states which rarely went to war because of the Texp Yuwi, and even when they did declare war, they would quickly end after an agreement.

Falxo Dynasty (98 BC-128 AD)

In 101 BC, the city-state of Rxalxa, which was of the Faxlxo tribe, declared war on its neighbors, violating the Txep Yuwi. Its leader Axrox "The Great" Axc Faxlxo, managed to conquer all of Haia by 98 BC, establishing the Faxlxo Kingdom, or the Faxlxo Dynasty. On the 15th of July 98 BC, The Txep Ga was signed, a treaty giving the Faxlxo control of the Archipeligo. This occasion is still celebrated today as "Axrox Day".

Axrox Axc Faxlxo (98 BC-52 BC)

After becoming the Leader of all of Haia, he immediately tried to get the support of the people. He built Houses, constructed Forts, built Roads, and made small ports and Keeps. He also built Statues of himself and named places and whole towns after himself. He slowly built a sort of Cult of Personality around himself, ordering Artists to paint portraits about him, Musicians to sing songs about him, and told teachers to tell stories about him. In around 70 BC and 60 BC, he even told Uvonikist Priests to make him a deity and call him "Atxula Fazafatapa" or literally "God Reincarnated", and ordered them to Hang portraits of Him in temples to worship him. Because of this, a lot of Uvonikists got angry and tried to overthrow Axrox, but Axrox crushed their rebellion and committed Genocide against whoever opposed his regime. His Genocidal ways came to an end in 52 BCE, but his legacy through Uvonikism and the Handing of power to the Falxos still impacts Milhidia today.

Goaxtxa Axc Faxlxo (52 BC-19 BC)

Goaxtxa Axc Faxlxo (Cazheil:Goaxtxa Axc Faxlxo) was one of many sons of Axrox, and after Axrox's death, he became the King of Milhidia. He maintained his father's legacy by maintaining his Father's status and Cult of personality in Uvonikism, but he ended his genocidal massacres. He managed to increase stability in Haia after promoting himself and the Kingdom by sending Propaganda in the form of Men who would go to settlements and list down the accomplishments of the Monarchy. This worked and the stability of his nation increased drastically, reducing rebellions and protests. He is notable for starting the construction of the Kuxrutxap Atxula Fazafatapa, or "Statue of the Reincarnated God", which was a gigantic 33 meters high stone statue of Axrox. Construction started in 24 BC, but it was completed after Goaxtxa's death in 12 BC. Along with that he also started construction of the Guax Temple in Karx, which was a giant temple dedicated to Goaxtxa himself, which became completed in 20 BC. In 19 BC Goaxtxa died in 19 BC and he was buried in Guax. It is said that the entire city of Karx came to his funeral.

Oaxtaxsax Axc Faxlxo (112-151 AD)

Oaxtaxsax Axc Faxlxo (Cazheil:Oaxtaxsax Axc Faxlxo) was the last king of the Falxo Dynasty and the first King of the Great Falxo Kingdom. He got crowned in 112 AD when he was a mere 11 years old, with Kax Faxlxo being his regent. When he became 17, he was officially the "King of Milhidia" but he wanted more than being a King. In 128, He created an oral document called the "Nox Atxox", which declared himself and his descendants as "Axzaxzax" or King of Kings, and declared that his Family was above all others and descendants of Godly Beings, thus the Great Kingdom of Falxo was established. Oaxtaxsax is also known to have changed the capital to Calxo, which at the time was a small but growing town. He built a Palace called the "Tax Oaxtaxsax", which is made out of Mud, Clay and wood. He died in 151 and was buried in the Txax Zax Mausoleum in Calxo.

The Reformation Rebellion (323-335 AD)

'The Great Reformation Rebellion’ started in 323 during the reign of Axzaxzax Goaxtxa II. It started in Calxo by a priest called Axrixux Faxlxo in the town of Karx, which by that point was the Capital of the Great Falxo Kingdom. Axrixux had a divine dream where Uvoniki himself told Axrixux that since he was revealed the 15 truths 961 years ago, much of the truths had been corrupted, and that Axrixux should go and reveal the actual truths of the universe and abolish the corruption which had plagued Uvonikism. Axrixux told this message to his family and peers, and since he was a trustworthy figure, they became believers, starting the Axrix sect of Uvonikism. Axrixux faced persecution in Karx, so he escaped into the Jungle, establishing his own settlement called Exkax. He sent some of his peers to nearby settlements to preach them, and invited them to stay in Exkax. Exkax later had a population of 350, grabbing the Attention of Axzaxzax Goaxtxa II. Axrixux sent a missionary to convert the King, but it outraged him. Axzaxzax imprisoned the missionary and sent 200 troops to storm Exkax. Upon hearing this, Axrixux told every able man to help defend Exkax, and every able woman to help supply food and build walls. An army of 159 people was created, and when the 200 men arrived, Axrixux and his his army defeated them, Ordering to capture execute all of the Kings soldiers who survived. By now he had a divine dream that he should wage war upon the king and take control of the kingdom. Axrixux and his loyal men massacred and converted hundreds of people, and a civil war broke out which lasted 12 years, which ended with Axrixux being victorious and him establishing the Theocratic Kingdom of Haia.

The Theocratic Kingdom of Haia (335-782)

After seizing all of Haia, Axrixux declared himself Rxe Fatushu (Cazheil:Rxe Fatucu) or “Eternal Leader” of the Theocratic Kingdom of Haia (Cazheil:Dvalix Kuvax Axixax). He declared that from now on, Haia shall be ruled by priests and religion shall be above all matters. All other religions and sects other than Axrix Uvonikism was banned and punishable by death. He ordered all paintings of previous Kings be destroyed, and statues of them be demolished. After these radical reforms, he wanted to preserve his sect of Uvonikism, so he ordered the creation of the Jasomixnax, A huge painting which told the story of Uvoniki and Axrixux, and it told the original 15 truths, so future generations don’t go astray. There was to be an original copy of the Jasomixnax with the Rxe Fatushu, with copies of it distributed all over Haia. Five ministries or Kexra (Cazheil:Kexra) were also established, The Ministry of Religion, The Ministry of Infrastructure, The Ministry of Justice, The Ministry of Preservation and The Ministry of Commercial Affairs. The Ministry of Religion was tasked with building temples, assigning priests and choosing the Heir to the Rxe Fatushu, The Ministry of Infrastructure was tasked with building and developing roads, houses and monuments, The Ministry of Justice was assigned to enforce laws and settle Personal and Tribal disputes, The Ministry of Preservation was assigned to preserve Axrix Uvonikism and also to protect the Rxe Fatushu, and to squash rebellions and protect the state from invaders, and at last The Ministry of Commercial Affairs was tasked to calculate taxes and manage spending. All of these ministries had 2 representatives in the Rxe Fatushu’s court who would serve as advisors. All of these ministries were given some autonomy and even given land for them to use, and later on, if you belonged in a ministry or were related to a person who was in one, you were seen in a higher status, and may have more opportunities than a person who was not a part of one, and they were even exempted from some taxes.

The Development and Creation of the of the Dxisho System

During the era of the Theocratic Kingdom, Haia started developing a caste-like system later known to be the Dxishox system (Cazheil:Dxicox). The Dxishox system began when the Ministries were created. In the Dxishox system, the King and his extended family as well as priests were seen as the most elite, known as the Rxepax . After them were people belonging to the Ministries and their extended Families, known as the Kexraxpax. After them were the Chiefs of local tribes and their extended families, known as the Txupax. After them were people part of the Military and people who worked in jobs relating to culture, business or production of elite goods, known as the Dushupax. Then were the Peasants, who include the common folk, Farmers, Labourers etc, as well as slaves, known as the Fuxfuxpax. And last of all were the Hishixpax, who were the most hated and segregated. These included people who were excommunicated, infidels, heretics, criminals, and people groups who were segregated such as certain tribes and people of different races. Your position in the system meant a lot, and it decided your fate and future. Haian daily live became heavily segregated, and the government would often be bias towards certain classes. Your class was decided by the class of your parents, and you can never change it. Though it was unfair, it had by now become engraved in the Haian mindset and no one resisted it, and it would not be fully abolished until the establishment of the second Kingdom of Milhidia in 2004.

The Txupax Rebellion (777-782)

The reign of Rxe Fatushu Geixkix Faxlxo, the theocratic kingdom became more authoritarian. Geixkix banned multiple common things, like Alcohol, Music Poetry, Dogs etc since he disliked them. Along with that, he was notorious for raising taxes of the Txupax, despite his advisors advising him not to. This particularly caused outrage among the Txupax, who had for years been respected. The taxes inflicted upon the Txupax made most of them lose all their money and property. The Txupax along with the Kexraxpax demanded the outrageous taxes be removed, but Geixkix refused. The Txupax were responsible for protecting and overseeing their tribe, and most tribes depended on their chiefs for monetary support. Because of this reason the Dushuxpax and Fuxfuxpax agreed to fight a rebellion with the Txupax against the Rxe Fatushu. Most tribes allied themselves or swore fealty with other powerful tribes, and at the end 5 major tribes remained, under 5 Chiefs. The 5 Chiefs were Dax Gahami, Fuxrux Faxlxo, Joxixoxs Falxo, Uxrux Lxatxaxi and Bokix Lxatxaxi. These 5 leaders raised their own armies and together they defeated the army of the Ministry of Preservation and they marched into the Tax Oaxtaxsax, the Palace In which the Rxe Fatushu resided, and they assassinated him. There is dispute on who exactly assassinated the Rxe Fatushu, but it is agreed that it was either Fuxrux Falxo and Dax Gahami. After the assassination, the Rxe Fatushu’s family and the ministries surrendered, and with the 5 leaders they signed the Treaty of Calxo.

First Treaty of Calxo (782)

The Treaty of Calxo was signed in the Tax Oaxtaxsax. It was signed by the 5 leaders, Taxpix Faxlxo (the heir of the title of Rxe Fatushu), and all the Advisors of the Ministries. The treaty was an oral one and it stated how post-theocratic Haia must be governed. The treaty stated that Haia shall now be a Federation, with 5 Kingdoms within, ruled by the 5 Leaders. Dax Gahami would rule The Kingdom of Txamba, Fuxrux Faxlxo would rule the Kingdom of Calxo, Joxixoxs Falxo would rule the Kingdom of Txep, Uxrux Lxatxaxi would rule the Kingdom Goxdux & Jox, and Bokix Lxatxaxi would rule the Kingdom of Rxalxa. This Federation will have it’s capital in Calxo, and will have no true leader. Instead there will be a governing body called the Juxshtoxrix (Cazheil:Juxctoxrix). The Juxshtoxrix will consist of the 5 Leaders themselves and 2 representatives from each ministry, with only the religious ministry having 1 representative, making a total of 16 people. The ministry system would not be abolished, however all former advisors and high ranking ministry members were to be jailed for life and replaced with new ones. The ministry representatives would also be the heads of their ministry. All law and reforms relating to the federation as a whole must be voted in the Juxshtoxrix, and it would pass of there is 9 or more votes, however each king would have absolute power over their own kingdoms. Taxpix Faxlxo was still the Rxe Fatushu, however the Rxe Fatushu would now only be the representative of the Ministry of Religion. The positions of all new and former government members in the Dxisho system was to be changed as well, however despite now being a member of the ministry, the Rxe Fatushu maintained his position in the Rxepax.

The Federation of Haia (782-1459)

The Federation of Haia started with a lot of violence. Immediately many former high class citizens were demoted to become low class citizens. In 785 a rebellion headed by a Preist called Axrixux Gahami rose in the growing town of Txamba to restore the Haian Theocratic Kingdom, however this was quickly suppressed. The Juxshtoxrix made multiple reforms to not only reverse the authoritarian laws of the Haian Theocracy, but also to preserve the Federation in the future. The Juxshtoxrix also brought in many changes into society. In 796, the Goxpix was created, which was a currency consisting of coins made out of Gold and Silver. Until now, a bartering system was used, so the Juxshtoxrix exchanged bartering items with the people for the goxpix to put them into widespread use. After 812, All government related services were to be paid in Goxpix, enforcing their status as the main currency. Along with that a Banking system was also introduced to preserve the wealth of citizens in exchange for a small cut of the stored money.

The Goxdux Crisis (912-13)

Several decades passed and until now the Federation was mostly stable, however this changed after the death of Girix Gahami and coronation of Dax III Gahami in 912, descendant of Dax I Gahami, one of the 5 chiefs. Dax III was the ruler of the Txamba region in the south east, and he owned several surrounding islands in the south, which was a region which lacked resources. His kingdom controlled only half of the Island of Goxdux, which is the most south West Island in Haia, and the rest was controlled by Jox Lxatxaxi, descendant of Uxrux Lxatxaxi. These two kings were the most powerful kings at the time, since they controlled the most land and the largest armies.

The Troubling Times (920-928)

The Troubling Times (Cazheil:Uxav Rarivca), also known as the Troubles was a series of events which is known for genocide, anarchy and war. Although the Goxdux crisis was averted, the crisis unofficially created 2 Factions. The Kingdoms of Goxdux & Jex, Txep and Calxo were known as the Jox Yuwi, while the Kingdoms of Txamba and Rxalxo were known as the Dax Yuwi. The Dax Yuwi were ruled by the Lxatxaxi Tribe, while the Jox Yuwi were ruled by the Gahami and Faxlxo tribes. This ethnical difference caused racism and ethnical cleansing in the years following. In 921, the main Juxshtoxrix was abolished by all Kings and instead was split into the Dax Juxshtoxrix and Jox Juxshtoxrix, with only members of their own factions. This essentially split the federation into two, however no war was declared among them yet. In 922, the Kingdom of Calxo massacred 300 Lxatxaxi in the village of Koxsekix. Meanwhile also in 922, 560 Gahami and 270 Faxlxo were beaten to death on the orders of the King of Rxalxa. Later the Rxe Fatushu, head of the Ministry of Religion who were on the Dax Yuwi, declared all Gahamis as evil, however Faxlxos were exempted because of their status in Uvonikism and the fact the Rxe Fatushu himself was a Faxlxo. This move angered the Jox Yuwi, who then afterwards founded their own Gahami Ministry of Religion and declared all Lxatxaxis as evil. These massacres and religious splits caused the Dax Yuwi to officially declare war on the Jox Yuwi in 924, starting a Haian Civil War. Meanwhile, Haia was also experiencing a famine because of a drought. This famine was further worsened as most kingdoms took food supplies from farmers to ration their soldiers. This along with the war caused extreme loss of life and devastation in the land. In 926, the drought supposedly ended after a tropical storm hit Haia, killing even more lives. In 927, the city of Rxalxo was captured by Calxo, and the Second Treaty of Calxo was signed ending the civil war.

Second Treaty of Calxo (927)

The Second Treaty of Calxo was signed by all 5 Leaders and representatives of the Ministries in Haia. The treaty revived the former Juxshtoxrix system, and abolished the Jox Yuwi and Dax Yuwi. It also abolished the Ministry of Religion and instead declared the Gahami Ministry of Religion to be the only Ministry of Religion, with Pox Gahami being the new official Rxe Fatushu. The Kings of Txamba and Rxalxo were executed and 2 Faxlxo Kings replaced them. At the end this treaty guaranteed absolute power for the former Jox Yuwi, which caused immediate resistance from the Lxatxaxi, causing the great Lxatxaxi Rebellion of 928.

The Great Lxatxaxi Rebellion (928)

After the treaty of Calxo was signed, it guaranteed oppression of the Lxatxaxi peoples in the Rxalxo and Txamba kingdoms. For this reason a coordinated rebellion was held by a noble called Vaxnu Lxatxaxi. Vaxnu raised 2000 men in Rxalxo and famously landed in the beach of Baxlax and scorched the land surrounding it. From Baxlax he reached Calxo and after a long siege conquered it. He marched onto the Tax Oaxtaxsax and killed the King of Calxo. After the defeat, the Heir of the King of Calxo agreed to allow Vaxnu to be the King of Rxalxa and his brother to be the king of Txamba. He also agreed to promise to protect the rights of the Lxatxaxi. These demands were soon accepted by the other kings, however the Kings of Rxalxa and Txamba faced resistance, but they were soon forced to comply. After this agreement, known as the Lxatxaxi Agreement, the Troubling times officially ended.
