Climate
Nolcik is home to five climate types in accordance with the Köppen Climate Classification system. It's largest and most important divide is the mild tundra (ET) versus subarctic (Dfc) divide, which very roughly lies on the Antarctic Circle; however the subarctic climate zone can reach as far south as approximately 69°S, and the tundra climate can be found as far north as about 59°S in the large mountain range that intersects the nation. The coldest temperatures are found in the extremely-cold subarctic (Dfd) regions near and along the Gaflekekmages River just south of the transliran city of Këkmanelc. Higher up in the large western mountain range can be found dry-summer subarctic (Dsc), whereas monsoon-influenced subarctic (Dwc) can be found further north in the large eastern mountain range at extreme altitudes. The mildest climates are found in the north-west of the nation along the coast where the average coldest month highs rest around -4°C to -6°C, compared with the lowest average coldest month highs in the Dfd regions that sit at around -40°C. The hottest summer average highs are found in the extreme north-west and extremely rarely surpass 23-24°C throughout the nation.
Snow persists in most places for at least 5 to 6 months of the year, with snow being at least possible for at least half the year throughout the country. In the extreme south, potential snow cover can persist for close to an entire year, with some years seeing snow cover during all months of the year.
