Pashakare, known natively as Paŝakare (pronunciation: /paʃakaɾɛ/) is a city within the state of the same name in Calutia. This city sits as the federal capital and largest city of Calutia, and is the location of the parliament building, emperor's mansion, national museum of Calutia, and the only international airport, Paŝakare International.

Etymology

Pashakare is named for the river it sits on, the Cakar river, which has a name that's just a simplified Pashakare. That name itself coming from Proto-Hedretic "strong-water-ridge."

History

This city had historically been the center of Calutian culture, with the city having been the capital of Calutia for many centuries. Its role as the capital of Calutia has stood the test of time, and has even gone through a devastating fire and bombing, from both events it has recovered and rebuilt. It acted as the capital for the Kahân dynasty, the first Calutian dynasty, and all the dynasties after that.
