New Pthalk (Lestzi: psalk Psalk [psaɫk]), officially the Free State of the New Pthalk Islands, is a state of Letzia located in the southern Taanttu Sea, off the eastern coast of Boroso. It is one of three Letzian states located in Boroso.
Etymology
The name "Psalk" was loaned into Lestzi from Dhwer Pþālk, which is most likely related to the Pthalki-Dhwer creole name for the island Fálleg, itself a distortion of the Saavdis name of the island Falamefflég, a compounding of the words fal- "blue" + meff "forest" + lég "island", most likely due to the dark green colouring of the island's canopy from sea.
