Qalśatkã is a Kúantan martial art emphasising the fighting abilities of raptors, which are believed in Ṽioń to be imbued with divine power. Qalśatkã differs from other martial arts in use of unusual spaces rather than standardised rings.

Veint Geiśźi

The veint geiśźi is the gold standard of Qalśatkã events. It consists of three disciplines: the tree, ground, and water. Whoever wins the most of those events gets the win.

Individual Disciplines

Piyãktaj

A piyãktaj is a 5x5 metre trampoline-covered cube traditionally used as the first event taught to beginning qalśatkãveiźi. The first to 10 points wins, and it is considered the truest discipline for demonstrating the principle that a good offense must also be a good defense, and vice versa. 1 point is awarded for any of these hits: A hard slap or punch to the torso or leg A shove or throw that propels your opponent from at least mid court to the wall when out of control A kick to the leg or torso A shove forcing them down and holding for 3 seconds 2 points: A kick to the headgear A shove forcing them down and holding for 5 seconds

Hldeír

A hldeír is a 20-metre long pole suspended 8 feet above the ground. Hldeír is considered the most athletic of all events. The two contestants start at opposite ends of the pole. There are 3 geiśźi, each of which ends only when an opponent has fallen off the pole. Whoever won more geiśźi is the winner.

Veitea

The Veitea, or water, discipline, is generally contested on an area with a pit (swimming-pool-like) of water surrounded by land. The first to 10 points win.
