Saant (Central Ystelian Sign Language: [to be added]), officially the The Tribal Alliance of the Interior North Ystellic Chiefdoms and Tribes, is a landlocked country located in Central Ystel, bordering Osteria and Gfiewistan in the west, Lufasa and Kranxram in the north and Shelhania in the east. It is an alliance of several tribes of the interior of North Ystel, that originally united to more effectively resist Gfiewish imperialism in the 19th century. Due to its very decentralized and diverse nature, the country does not have an official spoken language, instead a sign language, Central Ystelian Sign Language, is predominantly used for politics and trade. A written version exists for printed documents. Being a landlocked country consisting mostly of plains with a population largely still living a traditional nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyle, it is one of the most sparsely populated countries in Ystel.
