The Saras Republic , officially the Great Republic of Saras, is a country located in Central Boroso. The country is populated almost entirely by Kavs. It borders the Fals Empire to the South.

Kavs first arrived near and around Saras in X.

Kav city states began to form around the Lvó river around X.
Sayasuun Empire
In the 15th Century BCE, Ísáhic Nahá Sarasán became ruler of the City State of Sárahsic. He X. By 1500 BCE Nahá had conquered nearly all of the Lvó River city states, and had made tributaries out of others. He was succeeded by Ísáhic X Sarasán, who conquered the rest of the Lvó river valley, and X.

The Sayasuun Empire collapsed after Emperor Ísáhic X Sarasán's death without an heir in X, and after nearly a decade of civil war. The capital was sacked and the Empire collapsed into a mess of feuding fiefdoms.

Saras is home to many different ethnic groups, many very distinct from the Saras ethnic group themselves. This causes many issues, particularly with the official name of the Republic, which focuses only on the Saras ethnic group. When referring to somebody of any ethnic group in the nation, it is appropriate to use Sarasnian rather than Saras.
