Shelhania (Native language: Cerxarnav, IPA: /ɕəɹxaɹnav/), officially the Union of Shelhania, is a country located on the northeast coast of Ystel, bordered by Mermelia and Lufasa at the west. The population of almost 37 million people is highly diverse, with 2 main native ethnic groups and various other groups as immigrants. Its capital city is Ankorau, where most governmental processes are handled and 16 million people live. It is highly known for its immigration policies and social culture. It is a union of the territories that were part of the old Baronician Kingdom and surrounding territories.
Etymology
The name Shelhania derives from the native name Cerxarnav, meaning "better human" (in a morality context). It comes from the Baronician passage (in Shelhan) Cerxarnav kin se ke anh recder kíirgo, which means Better ones together, that if not we shall die.
