Contemporary Era
Solama was originally a state of the Kingdom of Sebanon but broke away during the Great Ekuosian War. Solama joined the Soltennan Blood Pact on the 8th of December, 1946 under fascist leader x. After the fall of Atenic Lugida, the Absolute State of Solama collapsed and was officially disbanded on January 12th, 1949. For a brief period, Solama rejoined Sebanon but at the conclusion of the war, it declared its independence once more as the Union of Solamese Provinces. President x was allowed to rule again under the supervision of the national congress. In 1957 President x was removed from power and the presidency remained vacant until 1972.
Since the Great Ekuosian War Solama as the USP has lobbied for recognition as a sovereign state. It retains a position of an observer in the International Congress and has been pushing for membership in the Soltennan Council since the organization's inception in 2005.

Government
Under Asota the Solamese Coast is a member of the Sebnese Parliament. Under Mordar-Kovatia Solamese is a member of the Kovat Parliament. As an independent country, Solama is under the jurisdiction of a national congress. Currently, the Kovat government has the strongest claim over the territory.
Administrative divisions
Foreign relations
Solama's greatest ally is Mordar-Kovatia. Their eastern neighbor recognizes their right to rule but, depending on the administration, considers them an integral part of Mordar-Kovatia. The USP has retained its relationship with Asota who also claims sovereignty over the territory. In terms of trade Asota is Solama's biggest partner, offering generous trade in return for loyalty to the Crowned Republic, particularly the state of Sebn.

The capital of Shela is the most important and only major city in the region. Following its independence from Asota Solama developed Shela into a trading center and a large portion of the USP's income comes from the city.
