The Solaman War, was fought from September 3rd, 1950 to June 29th, 1969. It stands as one of the longest conflicts in contemporary Vaniuan history as a result of its on-and-off fighting periods making it a frozen conflict on two separate occasions. It began with Shavakhotia's invasion of the Solaman Region following the beginning of the Second Lenezi Civil War in 1950, and resumed in 1960 with Lenezan's counteroffensive in the region following the beginning of the Shavakhotian Civil War. Although fighting officially ended in 1969 with the Treaty of X being signed, the region is still claimed in its entirety to the present day by these two nations.
