The Soltennan Council was a regional and economic intergovernmental organization located in Western Miraria.

History

Establishment

The Council was established at the Hux Mlak Conference in 2006.

Royal Charter withdrawal

In November 2017, many of the members comprising the Royal Charter announced their intention to leave the Soltennan Council due to allegations against Lugida of domineering the organisation following the Qonklese Crisis. News outlets commented on this controversial move with the statement: "Soltenna has lost its crown." The leave was effectuated on December 1st: the Council's first and third largest economies, Yerlan and Liosol respectively, left the council, and the headquarters in Hux Kham were relocated.

Demise

At a conference of southern Soltennan leaders in mid-December 2017, following the exit of the Royal Charter, it was agreed that the Soltennan Council had failed its objective of Soltenna-wide intergovernmental cooperation, and that its operations should be merged into the Wreath.
