South Zindarr (Zindarri: Zindař [zɨnːɐr̝]), officially the Kingdom of Zindarr, is a country in northern Parshita, bordering Sarmai to the south, Kaisen to the east and Temay to the north.

The region of modern Zindarr has been inhabited continuously for millennia. Tiengic speakers are believed to have settled the region at some point during the 2nd millennium BCE, followed by an influx of East Mirarian-speakers during the late 1st millennium BCE. Control of the territory often switched between various nomadic groups. The modern nation broke away from Sarmai in the early 20th century, which to this day Sarmai does not recognise (though Sarmai does have unofficial relations with the Zindarri National Salvation Army). The nation became embroiled in various civil wars between Balkist and Monarchist factions. Since 1978 the eastern third of the nation has been occupied by the Zindarri National Salvation Army (ZNSA), a resurgent Balkist organisation backed by the Helsonian Government; since the fall of Helsonia in 2005 the ZNSA has also maintained a low-level insurgency in northern Kaisen.

South Zindarr is the colloquial name for the area controlled by the Council for National Reconstruction; on an international level, the Council for National Reconstruction is overwhelmingly recognised as the only legitimate government of Zindarr, with the Zindarri National Salvation Army considered an insurgent rebel or terrorist organisation. The Council for National Reconstruction has cooperated with the Terminian Government in Kaisen in order to combat the insurgency.
