Täräbit (Juhash: Täräbit [ˈtäräbit]) is a major city in western Juhashka and one of the 26 provinces of Juhashka. From 1923 until 1986, Täräbit was the capital of the country.
Etymology
The name "Täräbit" is a compound of the Juhash words tär, meaning 'white', and bit, meaning 'hill'. The name literally means 'Hill of White', or 'Whitehill'. The name itself is derived from the outcrops of white limestone in the area.
