History

Pre-History

The prehistorical period experienced the arrival of the Bone-hook peoples into the area, which have left artefacts across the country, as well as the Fan and Mei people. It is believed that the Fan, Mei and Bone-hook people make up the ancestors of the modern Taanttic people.

Antiquity

This period is marked by the foundation of a number of city-states. The foundation of the great cities: Hayaf, Yvo, Kerezh, and Pakat; happened during this period.

Classical

In the year 567, the empire of Hayaf was formed from the ambitions of Iyud. This empire collapsed in the year 812 with the fracturing of the provinces after the death of its last emperor. The empire of Yvo was formed in 941 when TBD

Imperial

The lands of modern-day Taanttu were conquered by the Bavkir Empire in the year 1286 by the Great King Kumruud "the possessed". This also marks the beginning of the Imperial period of Taanttic history. This region is marked by a significant increase in stability in comparison to the rest of Taanttic history, as the Imperial authority divided the Taanttic region into provinces along religious, tribal, and cultural boundaries, and allowed each region to retain its identity, to avoid instability and insurrections in the area. The lands would be governed for the next few centuries, before its succession from the crown in the year 1701, when the lords of the north rebelled.

Post-Imperial

In the years following the collapse of the Bavkir empire, the Taanttic kingdoms again shattered into their prospective lordships, eventually coming under influence of the Letzian Crown. It is during this period that the northern province near Pakat was taken by the Terminia.

Modern

The modern-day nation was formed from [To Be Determined]. In spite of this, the modern state is still racked with Ideological, Tribal, Cultural and Religious conflicts dating back centuries.
