The Last of Sahar received positive reviews and several awards, including 33 Primetime Emmy Award nominations(9 of them ending in them getting the award), including for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor for Denşem, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Lemicogo. The show also earned nine Golden Sahar Award nominations, with Lemicogo winning for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 2016 and Denşem winning for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2018. The television program was continuously acclaimed as one of the best shows in the history of television. The strong performances, excellent cinematography, surehanded direction, and a number of other aspects of the show continued to bolster its popularity over the latter years of the 2010s.
