Uberikia (Language: Omarian Uberikia [IPA]), officially the Democratic Republic of Uberikia, is a country located in Baredina, western Ekuosia. The country is bordered to the north and north-east by Barradiwa, to the east by Tabiqa, to the south by Doloz and Notzel, to the south-west by the gulf of Ishenar and to the west by Norjihan. Uberikia has a population of over 31 million, as of October 20th, 2021 with 92% of them residing in the south-west near the coastal areas. The country's capital is Siverta, and its largest city is Riba, and its most developed city is Sumendaz.

Etymology

The word Uberikia derives from the Naskrashian word "Uver o Ikyat", meaning "Peace and Unity". It was first used in 1751 by the king Solnat Kameenit as a symbol of the unity and the strength of the uberikian people against tyranny and occupation, eventually gaining their independence in 1801.

History

Formation of the nation

In the year 698, in the region of Ekuosia, indigenous tribes named "Yumani" and "Sawakika", the ancestor tribes of Uberikia who resided in the city of Suwkebolesi (modern-day Riba) had been vastly divided by the differences between each next-door tribes. Then comes the great Uberikian ancestor and founding father, Ragani Mandikak, who took the lead of his own Yumani tribe, asking locals and nearby neighbours into promoting peace between each tribe despite the differences, and that is proceeded via the creation of one great nation that gathers the people from different cultures, led by peace.

Uberikia was later invaded by the "Savantakic" tribes (modern-day far noth Doloz) from north, resulting in multiple casualties and damage. The occupation took place for several years and Uberikia fell quickly as a Dolozian territory up until the 1200s, which was around 600 years of occupation, as an aftermath of the Uberikian war of Independence.
