The Union of Shomosvan (Balak: Cankoroc Comosvan Şankoroş Şomosvan [ˌʃɑŋkɔˈɾɔʃ ˌʃɔmɔˈsᵝɑn]), also known unofficially as Balakia, was a Kúúlist nation located in the Vaniuan region of South Miraria. The Union of Shomosvan became a member of the International Clubball Federation in 1964, making its debut in the 1967 World Cup. The Shomosvan clubball team would later go on to win the 1982 World Cup hosted in Qonklaks, beating Karduv 6-4 after extra time. This victory was passed onto Balakia following the collapse of the Union; this decision has been disputed by the Royal Gushli Clubball Federation due to major contributions from Gushli players, including the winning goals, and has been a source of controversy and tension.
