Ushia (Ushic: Uščik, Balak: Uşçik, Ushic/Balak: [ʊʃˈt͡ʃɪk]), officially the Kingdom of Ushia, is a country located in Northeastern Puzimm. It is bordered to the west by Sonka. It shares historical ties with Balakia, of which it was once a colony(?).

Monarchy
Ushia has a semi-constitutional monarchy, in which the King's power is enshrined in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Ushia, in which he retains a number of powers. The King presides over the Federal Assembly and the Federal Council as speaker. He is also the speaker in the Upper and Lower houses of Uš Vap’i. He is the head of Government of Uš Vap’i and the mayor by default of Varash. He also presides over the Ministerial Summits, which reunites the Grand Premier, representing Uš Vap’i, and the Prime Ministers of the other constituent states, and which deals mostly with urgent affairs of the Federal State. He is officially the head of the Army, although this position in practice is usually delegated, with the exception of more militaristic monarchs. Finally, to the King is reserved an irrevocable veto power with regards to State legislation at the federal and regional levels. .

Language
The official languages of the Kingdom are Ushic and Balak, although each state has its own languages and may use any of them in regional proceedings. By convention, all legislation is officially published in Balak, although an official translation into Ushic is required. The language of the Federal Assembly and Federal Council is Balak, although speaking in Ushic is allowed. Mastery of Balak is required to hold any public office, and knowledge of Ushic is preferred. Furthermore, new pieces of legislation only become official after a handwritten version in Balak is produced and adorned with the royal seal, copy that is then kept in the national archives
