Ǩeusäl (Ngumyokulta: [ˈxeu̯.sɑɫ]; Niryokulta: [ˈkʰoa̯.sal]) is the capital of Šoalaš municipality located on the Alõhkagem island. Majority of population speaks Ngumyokulta natively. It was first settled in late 40s of the 19th century.
Etymology
The name Ǩeusäl literally means "coastal village" (ǩeuŧ "coast" + -säl "village affix"). The same applies for name in Niryokulta, that is Koasal (koarát "coast" + -sal "village affix").
