Alotol City (Sedailar: Defir Aläidar), also known as Belfan is the executive and legislative capital of the Sovereign Kingdom of Liosol. It is home to the Prime Minister and the Kajeth, Liosol's legislative body.
Etymology
The original name of the city, Belfan, is of unknown origin. The current and more common name Defir Aläidar was proposed by members of the Provisional Government of Setole in 1935. By including Aläi in the new name of the city, the Provisional Government hoped to bolster nationalism and champion the cause for a united Alotol state.
