The Ekvibro Government in Exile, officially the Absentee Government of the Independent Republic of Ekvibron, is a government in exile founded with the invasion and subsequent annexation of the Independent Republic of Ekvibron by the Temedzene-controlled Federal Republic of Tisnoij in December 1997, which claims sovereignty over the prior territory of the Independent Republic of Ekvibron. Its aims are to take power in Ekvibron as a "government with the righteous mandate of the people", and states that its aims are to serve as a transitional government once "freedom is restored" to the region. The government was formed by elements within the former government who were able to escape the oncoming Temedzene military, largely to countries such as Asota, though moving on to --COUNTRY-- after organising their retreat, in which they now maintain a presence as an unofficial consulate and small-scale government house.
