History

Prehistory

Early History

Sunrise Horde

The Sunrise Horde invaded in what is now Western Athsud, and displaced the existing Milevics. The remaining Milevics started to adopt Mahavic culture and language, and began to distance themselves from the still predominantly Milevic Eastern Athsud.

After the collapse of the Sunrise Horde, X

15th-17th Century

During the 15th through 17th centuries, Athsud continued to be a patchwork of small states vying for dominance.

Athsudan Unification

In 17XX, X, leader of the X state, was able to unify the largely Eastern Athsud. Through a series of intimidations, wars, and diplomatic negotiations. The Kingdom of Athsud was created, with him being the new King of this unified state. He died after only 5 years and was succeeded by his son X.

Post-unification and the Juhash-Athsudan War

(Juhash-Athsudan War goes here) During the reign of X, many new reforms were made, but the country still remained an Absolute Monarchy. This absolutism lead to many new political radicals, especially those who had lived in Republics pre-unification, to write anti-monarchist material, such as Ogmót Ugþib.
