Cossantine Federal Territories (TLAHACATAŠAS COSSANTÉNBEZÉL; TLAHACATAŠAS COSSANTÉNBEZÉL [tlɑˑɦɑˑkɑˑtɑˑʃɑˑs kozsɑˑntɛɪnbɛd͡zɛɪl]), unofficially the CFT or TCB; TCB, is a country located in Northern Miraria, with Zolisin to it's east.

History
Cossantine Civil War
Throughout the summer of 1872 until the winter of 1889 there was a civil war within the Second Cossantine Confederation, this eruption of conflict was caused by a highly controversial anti-union policy introduced by Beldon VII, the king of DECAROS and prime minister of the confederation at the time; the loyalist regions comprised of DECAROS, SORÉNDYN (later switching allegiance in 1880), and STYL, while the federalists comprised of ROSBØTEG, BAACES, QØGYL, and WELCAA. The conflict ended two weeks after the death of Beldon VII, in which he was shot twice in the chest and had both of his eyes gouged out while he was within the Clur Gynden. The surrender of the loyalist forces resulted in a change of government and constitution, creating the Cossantine Federal Territories as a national entity to replace the Second Cossantine Confederation. The House of Deca was barred from political activities until 1900. The change in government resulted in the Cossantine Federal Territories no longer being an observer of The Charter until reapplication in 1903.
2011 Economic Crisis
Due to a scandal involving various national banks and the ŠENGADETSO Stock Exchange, it was revealed that most of the banks had excessively invested within foreign sugar plantations, leading to a surge in demand of monetary returns, which the banks could not fulfil, leading to excessive loans, a period of high inflation halving the value of the Clev (although no new denominations were minted preventing hyperinflation, the numismatic value of 2011 coinage within the CFT is considered pitifully little, especially in contrast to the sparse minting from 2012, 2013, and 2015). Eventually, The Charter intervened within the crisis, preventing the Cossantine economy from collapsing, although the effects were still widespread until 2018. As of 2025, only a quarter of the debt caused by the bailout has been paid off, partially due to further corruption. The United Ore Company has been negotiating over environmental protection laws in arguments to drastically strengthen the economy to pay off the debt.

Politics
The Cossantine Federal Territories has various political parties and entities that interact with it's federalised system. The non-party entities include the House of Deca, House of Stylvv, and the Cossantine Admiralty. The political parties themselves are the Colonial Party, Cossantine Continual Committee, Cossantine People's Party, Welcaa Liberal Party, Strength Party, Divisonists, New Beldonist Alliance, and the Blue Party.
Government
The government of the Cossantine Federal Territories is highly federalised, resulting in conflicting systems, even with the Regional Electoral Synchronisation act of 1956 CE compounding all regional elections (if said regions have elections) within the same timeframe instead of being spread out over varying days and years. From 1926 CE-1949 CE, the combined amount of seats within the CFT was 82, although in 1950 it was raised to 88 as to account for a new region.
Administrative divisions
The Cossantine Federal Territories has 8 regions as of 1950 CE.
Foreign relations
Participation in The Charter
The Second Cossantine Confederation was an observer from 1866 until dissolution in 1889. The Cossantine Federal Territories later become a recognised observer after application in 1903, later becoming an opt-out member in 1936. The Charter economically bailed out the Cossantine Federal Territories from the 2011 Economic Crisis, although has yet to be completely repaid.

Military
The armed forces of the Cossantine Federal Territories are divided into 3 branches, the Cossantine Central Army, the Cossantine Federal Fleet, and the Cossantine Central Airforce.
Cossantine Central Army
A highly obsolete army, was ridiculed internationally for only ceasing active service of bolt-action rifles in 1979 CE.
Cossantine Federal Fleet
(Cossant: VVSYLT COSSANTÉNBEZÉL; VVSYLT COSSANTÉNBEZÉL, [vʊsɪlt kozsɑˑntɛɪnbɛd͡zɛɪl]) Perhaps the most notorious, on account of multiple records of political interference, alongside general corruption to acquire additional funding for any personal projects of the admiralty; resulting in this branch having the most funding, even if not legitimately. Has been occasionally sent as an attaché to foreign conflicts. Has occasionally been feared by it's allies more than it's opposition.
Cossantine Central Airforce
The least funded of the three, has yet to have more than 13 airworthy aircraft at any one point in time; it would not be unfair to refer to them as pathetic.
Economy
In 1611 CE, the First Cossantine Confederation established a formal currency system, this non-decimal currency system can be represented as EVC, in which 1 Clev (E) is divided into 32 Cetviks (V) or 384 Cets (C) while 1 Cetvik (V) is divided into 12 Cets (C). Even in 2024 CE, the Cossantine Federal Territories have yet to establish paper currency, or decimal currency, still continuing with the coinage; said coinage is denominated in: 1E, 5E, 10E, 20E, 50E (50E introduced in 1827), 1V, 8V, 16V, 1C, 3C, 10C.
There have been commemorative coins minted featuring all 8 regions from 2000-2008 (in chronological order of integration or recognition, all denominated in 16V), alongside various releases featuring the sovereigns of the House of Deca (denominated in 5E) and House of Stylvv (denominated in 1E)
A noteworthy portion of Cossantine exports are in regards to raw materials, such as Nickel, primarily mined in within the town of Clongvørt, WELCAA.
The ŠENGADETSO Stock Exchange is the largest stock exchange within SORÉNDYN, and the country as a whole.
Transport
Rail transport, both public and logistical is dominated by the United Ore Company.
Air transport, to domestic destinations is almost monopolised by the Šahelvé Service, however foreign travel is considerably more diverse in regards to corporate availability.
Most automobiles are imported, although the domestic Goucos-Woyza Company (NGW) has been producing domestic and rebadged automobiles since 1955
Energy
Science and technology
The first radio station within the Cossantine Federal Territories was established under the Cossantine Federal Broadcasting Corporation within 1938 CE.
The first major civilian electronics company was Oros Electric, mostly known for their 8-bit Oubos line of computers sold from 1985-1994, and their 16-bit Rassda line of computers sold from 1992-2011. 16-bit computers were the most dominant architecture until 2006, when foreign 32-bit imported computers approached similar price bands.
Tourism
Due to the poor state of the country in regards to living standards, foreign tourism is quite rare, even from neighbouring Zolisin, occasionally there is tourism regarding international events, however. Internal tourism is particularly highest in WELCAA.
Demographics
Non-humans are noteworthily rare in the Cossantine Federal Territories. Under the law, they are not valid for citizenship. Non-humans can visit and work in the CFT, although it's not known how many there are.
Ethnic groups
Urbanisation
The general development difference between the north and the south has lead to a stark disparity between the urbanisation of the south, especially DECAROS, and the north. Buildings built in 2011 have been unilaterally agreed to be of sub-par quality.
Language
Education
Even as far back as the First Cossantine Confederation, toolmaking is taught as a subject for students that are 14 years old and above. Classical Cossant is a course common in higher education institutes. Computer Science has been a mandatory subject in WELCAA since 2015.
Healthcare
Healthcare is noteworthily absent from the Cossantine prison system.

Music
The predominant music genre within the Cossantine Federal Territories, is that of folk music, dominated by the indigenous Straleton, although it is not uncommon to find bell-based instruments or bowed strings either. A majority of non self-made instruments within the Cossantine Federal Territories are produced and sold by the Hédanawa Guild corporation. There has been an underground music scene relegated to the various civilian computers produced within the Cossantine Federal Territories for that matter, although the scene is generally more popular in the west of the country.
Theatre
Film
The first cinema within the Cossantine Federal Territories was opened in 1958, due to dangerously low profitability within 2011 however, it was bought out by private investors, and converted into the Helcen Museum of Winter Entertainment.

Symbols
The Cossant language flag was only created in 1901 CE, as apart of the extensive government iconography overhaul that abolished many obsolete standards. The 8-point star on the Cossantine seal (including the alternate 8-point stars on the Cossantine Central Army Seal and the Roundel of Cossantine Central Airforce) although formerly represented the 7 regions and the federal government, were adapted to represent the 8 regions in 1950 and onwards.
