Fordas, officially the Association of the Four Swords and sometimes referred to as the Four Swords, is a political and economic union of four countries in southern Soltenna: Lugida, Riyana, Kadya, and Xynderland. It has developed a single internal market ensuring free movement of people, trade, and capital within the area, enforced by common policies legislated by the Fordian legislation. Fordas is defined by its single common market, identity, and international representation among its four member states.
The organization's history began with the Forian Community, founded in 1956 as an intergovernmental forum. In 1979, the four countries signed the Kaðrtand Treaty, which established Fordas and its common plans for unification. The union promoted a distinct Forian identity as being defined by the borders of the historical Forian Kingdom, whose territory comprised parts of the four member countries, and by the shared characteristics of cultures of Fordas member states.
Over the following decades the union grew into a political and economic union that is sometimes described as similar to a federation. In 1999 Fordas established a monetary union with the acre as the currency. Following the (something) Agreement in (2001), passport controls within Fordas are abolished. Soltennan Council, formed later in 2005, is inspired by the union, this time promoting a Soltennan identity.
Benefiting from the rapid post-war economic growth and an overall highly educated workforce, the union collectively has the world's 2nd largest economy by nominal GDP at $6.336 trillion, along with an area of 1,346,032 km2 (519,706 sq mi) and an estimated population of 220 million. It has represented itself as an entity with observer status in the International Congress and the Soltennan Council.

Notes
- ↑ Dukrone is not designated de jure as the Fordian capital, and Fordas has no plans to designate such, but its political importance in Fordas as the seat of most Fordian institutions including the Fordian Parliament and Fordian Council made the city considered as the de facto capital.
- ↑ This date format is used in official Fordian contexts, but is not uniformly used by the member states, as Lugida and Kadya use a yyyy-mm-dd date format.
- ↑ .fr is representative of the whole Fordas, and each member states also have their own TLDs.
