2007 Bombing
Uvazdor was on his way to a private charity event on the night of September 7 in 2007 when a black vehicle drove alongside his personal sedan. The vehicle attempted to ram his vehicle off the road into a store plaza and when that failed, detonated an improvised explosive device intended to destroy both Uvazdor's sedan and their own vehicle.
Ganz Uvazdor was critically injured while 12 bystanders were killed and a further 38 were injured. He mostly healed from his injuries in the attack but was left with ocular injuries and resulting glaucoma of his eyes. Since then, he has worn glasses suited to help with his damaged vision.
Since the incident, he has been very vocal about his anti-Cerman attitudes and demanded revenge be issued on the plotters who made an attempt on his life.
