The Horian Calendar (Saavdis: Himidqüg Horis, Karakat: Grossmeid Gor Ej, Fáknir language: En Skor Hor E) is the most commonly used calendar in the Fals Empire and was devised by the Pels wiseman Hor in the year 801 AD. It gained popularity and within 10 years it was used by all the Pels and some As tribes. It is a solar calendar with 365 days in each years with the exception of leap years, in which there are 366 days. Each year consist of 8 months with 45 or 46 days, with the first day of the year being September 23, which is usually on or around the day of the summer solstice. Every leap year there is a surplus day which is added after the last day of the year.
