Hwam Deaĝ Ruom (Qgam Dzwo: 野引興, /hwʌm deə̯ŋ ɻʊə̯m/) is the capital and largest city of the Democratic Republic of Qgam, with a population of 3,202,176, including the metropolitan area, making it the second largest city north of the 60th parallel.
Hwam Deaĝ Ruom is the financial, political, and commercial centre of the country and the location of the headquarters of Qgam's largest industries.
Due to its strategic location on Ĝo Deam Bay, Hwam Deaĝ Ruom is able to accommodate even the largest ships. The port is free of sea ice year-round, and when necessary, icebreakers are employed along the clast of the Gelög Sea to maintain Hwam Deaĝ Ruom's shipping routes year-round.
The name Hwam Deaĝ Ruom literally translates as "field that draws prosperity". This name is known to have been in use since at least c. 100 CE, when it began to appear in Soltennan written records, but the name given at its founding is unknown. Early Qonklese records refer to the region variously as 鄭鎮, 鄭郷鎮 (Qgam settlement), 鄭區域, 鄭帶, 鄭郡 (Qgam region), and it is likely that the name was unknown in Qonklaks.
