Kerkaosin Sattang Hungdep (Ru language: /kʰɤɻkʰao̞ɕin satːaŋ huŋde̞p̚/, Kreng: Ku Kaw Se) was the Ru chairman of the Union of Supreme Communes of West Soltenna, alongside Karduvic chairman Zhirshu Tà Dè Dàng and Maithic chairman Jòșùse Thexáwùs.
Early Life
Kerkaosin was born to the Lord Kerkaosin Myê Kê and weaver mother Amar Arihap Mung in Kerkao. Kerkaosin spend his childhood in luxury. He enlisted and joined the new Rongyo Army in 1916.
Kerkaosin rose through the ranks and became a lieutenant-general by 1939. He commanded troops that were a part of Rongyo's expeditionary army to support the Kyenese imperial war effort against her enemies. He participated in Operation Thunderbird, which saw Riyana being absorbed directly into the Kyenese Empire. It is unclear when Kerkaosin first engaged with kúúlist thinking, but official propaganda describes that Kerkaosin and several dozen volunteers under his command braved enemy detection to join the Ngonku 88th Division in Bai Paw on the Kyenese New Year of 1942. There, he was given new command, and directed Ru soldiers to stage guerrilla attacks in Rongyo and other Empire-aligned states.
