Kunjut (Balak: Kunḑut Kunjut [kʊnˈd͡ʒʊt]), officially the Republic of Kunjut, is a country located in western Parshita. Kunjut is bordered to the east by Jeehoop and to the west by Balakia's Ayalşemir exclave and the Zwazwan Gulf. The country is home to many native ethnicities, including [TBD]. Kunjut is classified as a developing economy(?), with a nominal GDP of around X and a GDP per capita of X.

Balak interest in the territory of Kunjut was piqued following the establishment of the Gulf Initiative, a strategy employed by the Balak Empire involving the seizing of control over the entrance to the Zwazwan Gulf to gain influence over and prosper from regional trade. The First Balak-Cathan War marked the beginning of large-scale Balak territorial ambitions in the Gulf, and resulted in the concession of the Hareyezan Islands and areas surrounding the port city of Ayalşemir. Further territorial expansion into Cathan holdings commenced prior to and following the White War.

In the wake of the Great Ekuosian War and the rise of the Kúúlist Union of Shomosvan, the Kunjut Crisis saw brutal conflict play out in Kunjut territory, and the country would be the stage for numerous war crimes. By the end of the crisis, Kunjut successfully pursued its independence, gaining it in 1963.
